Sonny and Penny are just too sweet, they give me diabetes.
Her voice is beautiful, and it works so well in All I Ask Of You I can’t even stand it. But she is just such a sweetie! The love between her and her fans is truly inspiring, seeing everything she’s done on Tumblr with all the Lost Girls, it’s just made me love her more and more.
For anyone who doesn’t know about the Lost Girls, a group of girls on Tumblr decided to create personas for themselves, after Skrillex released his Bangarang EP, feeling a little left out at the fact that there were Lost Boys, but no Lost Girls. One of the girls involved approached Penny and asked her if she wanted to be a part of the movement, and thus Mama Penny Pan was born. After that, the whole thing Sky Rocketed, seeing girls from all over the world dressing up as Lost Girls or drawing pictures of their Lost-Selves. Penny made a blog, pennypanandthelostgirls, which she runs personally, reblogging all the Lost Girls’ pictures and drawings.
I just love the idea behind this. Taking time out of life to get silly, to stop growing up and just be a kid, dress up, put on make-up, wear a furry hat and make new friends. I think Sonny would really love the Lost Girls, too.
I just thought it was necessary to take some time out to appreciate Penny. These two are freaking adorable. All of my hugs ♥
